AI that solves real production planning problems

We built MPSBoard for manufacturers, and we apply the same approach to your business: start with the problem, prove the value, then scale.

Our product

MPSBoard

Master planning for manufacturers

MPSBoard puts production, demand and capacity planning on one shared board. When a build plan moves, its target moves with it, so every team works from the same plan.

MPSBoard started with planners doing critical work in spreadsheets, on whiteboards and from memory. We built the system of record first, because AI is only as good as the data and workflow underneath it. Then we looked for the places where AI earns its keep.

The scenarios below are illustrative. They describe the kinds of teams MPSBoard serves and the problems we see most often.

MPSBoard use cases

  1. Use Case 01

From a fragile spreadsheet to one plan everyone trusts

Production planner · Custom metal fabricator, 80 employees

    The situation

The plan lives in a spreadsheet that one person maintains. When a customer changes a due date, the planner rebuilds the week by hand, sales finds out late, and the shop floor works from yesterday’s priorities. Nobody can answer “when will this job ship?” without walking the floor.

    What changes with MPSBoard

    • Production, demand and capacity sit on one shared board
    • Moving a build plan moves its target automatically, so nothing falls out of sync
    • Sales, planning and the floor see the same priorities at the same time

    Where AI fits

    • RoadmapFlag capacity conflicts before they become late orders
    • RoadmapSuggest a revised sequence when a rush order lands
    • RoadmapAnswer plain-language questions such as “what happens if we add a Saturday shift?”

    The outcome

The planner stops rebuilding the plan and starts managing it. Delivery dates become promises the shop can keep, and the owner gets answers without chasing people.

  2. Use Case 02

    Seasonal demand without the scramble

Operations director · Food co-packer, multiple production lines

    The situation

Several brand customers, each with its own forecast, all peaking in the same season. Line capacity is tight, changeovers are expensive, and the forecast changes every week. Planning meetings turn into arguments about whose numbers are right.

    What changes with MPSBoard

    • Demand from every customer lands on one board next to real line capacity
    • Plan changes carry through to targets, so the whole team sees the impact at once
    • One shared plan replaces competing versions in inboxes

    Where AI fits

    • RoadmapLearn seasonal patterns from order history and propose a demand baseline
    • RoadmapRecommend changeover sequences that protect capacity
    • RoadmapWrite a weekly plan summary for leadership in plain language

    The outcome

Planning meetings move from debating numbers to making decisions. Peak season is planned weeks ahead instead of reacted to.

Our approach

How we apply AI, in our products and yours

  • System of record first

AI is only as good as the data under it. We fix the workflow and the data before we automate anything.

  • Start with one problem

We pick the use case with the clearest value and prove it before expanding.

  • Responsible by design

Privacy, security and accountability are built in from day one, aligned with Canadian requirements such as PIPEDA.

  • Built for your team to own

Tools your people can run and improve without us in the room.

Personas and scenarios on this page are illustrative composites, not specific customers. Features marked “Roadmap” describe planned direction and are not yet available.
